In its earliest stages, Unism more or less existed ephemerally, in the discussions and bonds between its members and followers. We have always been convinced of the importance of Unism, and dedicated to the expansion of it, as an idea and practice, for individuals and for the world. But until recently, we have lacked the… Continue reading The 7 Steps of Reason for Unification & Understanding

An Excerpt from Plato’s work “Phædo”
The senses are untrustworthy guides: they mislead the soul in the search for truth. Below an excerpt from Phaedo, by philosopher Plato. The Golden Rule
The core principle of Unism, as a philosophy of thought and approach to life, is known as "The Golden Rule," and exists in nearly every major world religion. Hinduism: Everything you should do you will find in this: Do nothing to others / That would hurt you if it were done to you. (Mahabharata 5:1517… Continue reading The Golden Rule
Oversocialization
Generally speaking, the goals of today’s leftists are NOT in conflict with the accepted morality. On the contrary, the left takes an accepted moral principle, adopts it as its own, and then accuses mainstream society of violating that principle. Examples: racial equality, equality of the sexes, helping poor people, peace as opposed to war, nonviolence generally, freedom of expression, kindness to animals. Leftists, especially those of the oversocialized type, usually do not rebel against these principles but justify their hostility to society by claiming (with some degree of truth) that society is not living up to these principles.

Unism Podcast // Episode 1: The Election
In this very first episode of the Unism podcast, we hear about the 2016 Presidential election, the current political landscape, and how Unism transcends it - Not through some new age hippie rhetoric, but through a fundamental, universal code: do to others what you would have done to you. From this starting point, the hosts lay out the implications of this foundational principle, and how it can be used to steer the course of humankind towards total global and inner peace.
Industrial Society and Its Future
An essay which holds incredible significance and insight into understanding our current system and its failings (for the individual and the communities comprised thereof), was written in the mid-1990's. Since that time, the concepts of industrial dominance, automation, and their connection to ever-increasing societal distresses addressed in it have only grown in severity and occurrence, spread in… Continue reading Industrial Society and Its Future
